And we’re done for another year! Thanks to everyone for coming out. As usual the artists just made it an amazing success. Hats off to them. This website will update on arts related events like the upcoming Boston Open Studios, and other events. Plus we’ll put up some pictures shortly.


(ahts): The Boston Arts Festival features the best of the Boston Arts Scene- both visual and performance. Started in 2003 as a single afternoon event, the festival has expanded into a 3-day celebration incorporating a diverse performing arts program and a specially built artists’ village.


Based in the idyllic Christopher Columbus Park on Boston’s waterfront, the festivities glisten in perfect symmetry with the parks surroundings perfect for hosting also family friendly activities.

A HUGE amount of art on display this weekend (September 19 & 20) at the South End Open Studios.


B E A N T O W N  J A Z Z

From September 18 to 26, superstars and local artists will come together in free and ticketed offerings that have drawn upwards of 70,000 people of all ages from every neighborhood in Boston and all over New England. Full schedule is on-line.

The festival features over 60 juried artists from Boston and a performance program on 2 stages showcasing Boston’s best performing arts groups and performers.


Previous participants in the festival include Boston Ballet, Blue Man Group, Everyday Visuals, Zili Misik, Opera Boston, Aine Minogue, OrigiNation, Boston Pops, Bleu and Boston Lyric Opera.
