(ahts): The Boston Arts Festival features the best of the Boston Arts Scene- both visual and performance. Started in 2003 as a single afternoon event, the festival has expanded into a 2-day celebration incorporating a diverse performing arts program and a specially built artists’ village.


Based in the idyllic Christopher Columbus Park on Boston’s waterfront, the festivities glisten in perfect symmetry with the parks surroundings perfect for hosting also family friendly activities.

The dates have been set for the 2011 Arts Festival weekend. The two day festival will be Saturday and Sunday 9/10/11 - 9/11/11.

The festival features over 60 juried artists from Boston and a performance program on 2 stages showcasing Boston’s best performing arts groups and performers.


Previous participants in the festival include Boston Ballet, Blue Man Group, Everyday Visuals, Zili Misik, Opera Boston, Aine Minogue, OrigiNation, Boston Pops, Bleu and Boston Lyric Opera.
