This demonstrator, Laura E. Sapelly, will reveal connections between pencil and paper and needle and thread. People are always surprised and intriqued when a drawing on paper is reinterpreted in stitch.

Diablo Glass gives continuous demonstrations on the art of glassblowing, flameworking, fused glass and stained glass artwork.

Kyle Browne will share her art of alternative book-making, also known as “altered books.” This process touches upon environmental awareness through re-using and repurposing materials and of course creativity and imagination! Visitors will be encouraged to participate and make their own book or work on a collaborative book with other visitors.

Weaving Studio

Mihoko Wakabayaski & Nathaniel Needle will not only give weaving demonstrations but they will also have multiple looms for festival-goers to use and enjoy creating something unique.

Justin Goedde will demonstrate creating ceramics and sculptures.

Sunday 1 - 4 p.m


Children are invited to paint a traditional salt pastry decoration in an Alsatian motif and learn about the typical crafts of this eastern French region at the Boston/Strasbourg Sister City Association interactive exhibit.
